EJ Cole
EJ Cole is a Social Worker (LICSW) with a background in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children and families for over 30 years and, for 15 of those years, owned a childcare/Pre-Kindergarten facility, where imagination and creative play were the foundation of the curriculum. She started writing comic books as a child and stories as a teenager and never stopped. Her passion for sharing imaginative stories with children of all ages is one of her greatest joys.
EJ was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. After attending graduate school in the Midwest and living in the Pacific Northwest for many years, she returned to her hometown and re-planted roots. She lives with her partner, Brenda, and has two college-aged children, Gavin & Ellery. Their support and encouragement have made her writing journey possible.
EJ loves the ocean, whale watching, long walks, meditating, listening to music, watching movies, and curling up with a rescue dog and a good book. Moving back to New England has allowed her to enjoy the beauty of her favorite season—fall.
